Smugglers Creek Presents Cheque to North West Hospice

Deirdre Clinton, Terri Gallagher, Celine Rush, Emily Browne, Ian Rush, Michelle Leckey, Tina Gallagher, Alan Jnr, Alan Gallagher and Mark Rush presented cheque to North West Hospice’s Micheal McGlone.
Smugglers Creek staff proudly present a cheque for the sum of €5340 to North West Hospice representative, Michael McGlone on Sunday 16th December 2012 which was raised after a very successful 1st Annual Charity event on Saturday 23rd November.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and made it an evening to remember.
Special thanks to Michelle Leckey who helped organised the event. Musicians Shane Cormac & Pete Griffin (Elvis) and all staff and suppliers who made it all possible.
We are already planning for next year’s event! Watch this space!

We had another brilliant jam packed Halloween Party Night on Saturday the 27th October 2012. Thank you for all the customers who came, especially those who dressed up! Thanks for all the staff, Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and Madonna who worked really hard behind the Bar all night, and Phoenix who provided the live music that got everybody dancing ! Looking forward to next year already!

Smugglers Creek Inn Received the Best Tourist Venue Award
from the Good Eating Guide 2012

 Smugglers Creek Inn received the Best Tourist Venue Award from the Good Eating Guide to Ireland 2012. The Award was presented to Proprietor Emily Browne on Monday 11th June by Mary Mitchell-O’Connor, TD at Patrick Guilbaud’s Michelin star restaurant in Dublin.

 “This award is a great achievement for all of us and a testimony to our growing success. Our aim has always been to create a unique atmosphere, warm service and a range of delicious and mouth-watering cuisine using carefully sourced Irish seafood and produce. With this recognition, we have put Smugglers Creek Inn on the map of Ireland as one of the most enchanting place to eat and stay. Obviously, we couldn’t have received this award without the dedication and hard work from all the staff, so a big thank you to all of them!” said Emily.

Visit Smugglers Creek Inn at Donegal Live 2012!

Smugglers Creek Inn will be exhibiting in the Food Hall at Donegal Live 2012.

It is a spectacular three day event, starting Fri 23rd May and closing Sun 27th May. The event features open air concerts in the Diamond by Alexdra Burke, Saw Dorctors, J90, Goats Don’t Shave, Kintra and Rockhill Ramblers.

There is a tented area in the Pier, Donegal Town, highlighting the best that Donegal has to offer, from accommodation, activities , culture and crafts providers, as well as the best of Donegal’s restaurants, where  Smugglers Creek Inn will be.
