Smugglers Creek Chefs Scooped Prestigious Award at Hotelympia London

Terri Gallagher, Deirdre CLinton and Joe Clinton Receiving Awards from Salon Culinaire

Congratulations to Smugglers Creeks Head Chef Deirdre Clinton, Chefs Joe Clinton and Terri Gallagher who formed the experienced team that competed and won two prestigious awards at the Salon Culinaire, Hotelympia in London at the end of February.

Hotelympia London took place on 26 February to 1 March this year. It is the UK’s largest exhibition for foodservice and hospitality with over 8,000 chefs visited the event. Salon Culinaire is the beating heart of Hotelympia for all chefs, where over 80 competition classes were hosted. It attracted chefs from all over the world to test themselves in the limelight.

Smugglers Creek team competed in two separate competitions. In the Display category,  they won a Silver medal in a Platter of Fish and Crustacea. The team also competed in the Terinex Master Chefs Challenge where they won a Bronze medal.
